Sacramento Burger Battle Winning Recipe

Last month, we got the great honor of winning the People's Choice award at the Sacramento Burger Battle! Our friends at Nicolas' Garden were kind enough to ask us for our winning recipe and share it with all of their fans. Now, they're challenging you to make the burger with your family at home and send it to nicolas@nicolasgarden.com--they'll share it on their website and social media. We hope you enjoy your burgers!

de Vere's Irish Pub Featured in Sactown Magazine's Best of Brunch Issue

We are super honored to be mentioned in Sactown Magazine's Best of Brunch feature in their February/March issue. What do their discerning editor Kate Washington suggest?

"Don't miss the corned beef hash, with plenty of delectable crispy bits, or the Nutella-stuffed challah French toast. Above all, don't forget it's still a pub, with an excellent selection of brunch cocktails: If the Tullamore Dew Irish coffees topped with thick whipped cream don't sate you, then try the 'Man-Mosa,' made with Harp lager."

Pick up an issue to get the full review. Thanks Sactown!

Melt Month is Coming Back!

We'll be serving one special melt each week for the entire month...giving you four delicious reasons to come in and enjoy a toasty meal. de Vere's Traditional Irish Stew Featured in Sacramento Magazine as Best Comfort Food

de Vere's Traditional Irish Stew Featured As Best Comfort Food

This month's issue of Sacramento Magazine is making our mouth water, in more ways than one. Their cover story "Comfort Food" features 28 local dishes they guarantee will warm you up this winter, and one of them happens to be our Traditional Irish Stew! We are so thrilled and thankful that we made the list, as we take pride in our traditional dishes.

So what do they have to say about it?

"De Vere's fragrant bowl of stew is food for your soul. The meaty broth, swimming with tender pieces of flavorful beef, celery, carrots and sweet pearl onions, is a dazzling dunking liquid for the pub's oak-flecked, rustic Irish brown bread. Chase it down with a gulp or two of fresh draft ale."

If you haven't tried our stew yet, we hope this inspires you to come in and order a bowl! You won't be disappointed!
